Communio (lateinisch: Gemeinschaft) steht für

• eine vollständige Kirchengemeinschaft
• in der katholischen Kirche die Gemeinschaft mit Christus in der Kommunion bei der Messfeier.
• einen Teil des Propriums: Communio (Liturgie)
• die katholisch-theologische Fachzeitschrift Communio (Zeitschrift)
• eine Richtung innerhalb der Katholischen Theologie, die besonders das Kirchliche betont (Communio-Ekklesiologie).

Die theologische Zeitschrift Communio wurde 1972 von Joseph Ratzinger (der später zum Papst Benedikt XVI. gewählt wurde), Hans Urs von Balthasar, Henri de Lubac und anderen gegründet. Die Zeitschrift, die inzwischen in siebzehn Sprachen veröffentlicht wird, (Deutsch, Englisch, Spanisch und viele andere) stellt eine der wichtigsten katholisch-theologischen Zeitschriften dar.
