Code
In communications, a code is a rule for converting a piece of information (for example, a letterword, or phrase) into another form or representation, not necessarily of the same type. In communications and information processing, encoding is the process by which information from a source is converted into symbols to be communicated. Decoding is the reverse process, converting these code symbols back into information understandable by a receiver.

CODE (programming language)
CODE is a visual programming language and system for parallel programming, letting users compose sequential programs into parallel ones. The parallel program is a directed graph, where data flows on arcs linking the nodes representing the sequential programs. The sequential programs may be written in any language, and CODE outputs parallel programs for a variety of architectures, as its model is architecture independent.
