In television, a clip show is an episode of a series that consists primarily of excerpts from previous episodes, generally depicted as a sequence of flashbacks given plausibility by a frame tale. It can be compared to a compilation episode, using the most popular episodes/clips in one episode. (Cf. fix-up.)
