Citta
Citta - one of the chief lay disciples of the
Buddha. He was a wealthy merchant from
Savatthi. His life and character were so pure that near his death, had he wished to be a
chakravartin, it would've been granted. However, he turned down this wish as it was temporal. He became a saint that became a non-returner.

Chitta citta (Sanskrit) [from the verbal root chit to fix the mind upon, design, be intent upon] Thinking, reflection, pondering; used for either the mind or the heart, as being considered respectively the seats of conscious or unconscious mentation. Also used for memory, intelligence, reason, while in astrology it is the name of the ninth mansion (Sagittarius).
