Chemistry (from Egyptian kēme (chem), meaning "earth") is the science concerned with the composition, structure, and properties of matter, as well as the changes it undergoes during chemical reactions. Chemistry is a physical science related to studies of various atoms, molecules, crystals and other aggregrates of matter whether in isolation or combination, which incorporates the concepts of energy and entropy in relation to the spontaneity of chemical processes.

Chemistry jest trzecim albumem brytyjsiego girlsband Girls Aloud, który został wydany w Wielkiej Brytanii przez Polydor Reords dnia 5 grudnia2005. Twórcami albumu byli Brian Higgins i Xenomania. Chemistry, zajmując 11 lokatę, stał się pierwszym albumem dziewczyn, nie będącym w top ten. Mimo to przez pierwsze tygodnie sprzedawał się wyjątkowo dobrze, osiągając status platyny. W Australii i Nowej Zelandii album wydano 20 lutego 2006.

Chemia, (grec. χημεία – chemeia) to nauka, która bada naturę i własności substancji, a zwłaszcza przemiany tych substancji, gdy się je ze sobą zmiesza.. Współcześnie wiadomo, że przemiany substancji wynikają z praw, według których atomy łączą się poprzez wiązania chemiczne w mniej lub bardziej trwałe  związki chemiczne, a także praw według których wiązania pękają i tworzą się ponownie prowadząc do przemian jednych związków w drugie co jest nazywane reakcjami chemicznymi. Chemia zajmuje się także rozmaitymi własnościami substancji wynikającymi bezpośrednio z ich budowy atomowej.

La chimica è la scienza, o, più precisamente, è quella branca delle scienze naturali, che interpreta e razionalizza la stuttura, le proprietà e le trasformazioni della materia. È lo studio delle proprietà e della struttura degli atomi (compresi i loro isotopi stabili e radioattivi), dei composti e delle molecole, nonché delle miscele e soluzioni degli stessi, quali costituenti base della natura e di come essi si combinano per produrre i vari stati della materia che formano noi stessi e tutto ciò che ci circonda. La conoscenza della struttura elettronica degli atomi è alla base della chimica convenzionale, mentre la conoscenza della struttura del nucleo e delle sue trasformazioni spontanee ed indotte è alla base della chimica nucleare. La rottura e la formazione dei legami tra gli atomi e le molecole sono responsabili della trasformazione della materia.
