The centre-right is a political term commonly used to describe adherence to views whose views leaning to the right but close to the centre on the left-right political spectrum. The centre-right involves the acceptance of a degree of hierarchy in society that the centre-right claims is caused by behavioural differences. The centre right claims that inferior quality behaviour, such as laziness and decadence, will lead people to inferior situations in comparison to others. The centre right, unlike the far-right, claims that this is not innate and that people can end their behavioural inferiority through changing their habits and choices of behaviour.

Mitte-Rechts ist die Kurzbezeichnung für eine politische Kooperation von zwei oder mehr Parlamentsparteien aus der „Mitte“ und dem „rechten“ Teil des Parteienspektrums. In den meisten Fällen erfolgt die Kooperation zum Zweck der Regierungsbildung, doch kann sie bei Kleinparteien auch ein Wahlbündnis sein, um ihre Wahlchancen durch eine gemeinsame Wahlliste zu erhöhen (siehe auch Lista Civetta in Italien).

Le centre-droit désigne un positionnement politique entre la droite et le centre. En Europe occidentale, il désigne les mouvement libéraux, démocrates-chrétiens et certains mouvements radicaux.

Centroprawica - w demokracjach parlamentarnych koalicja utworzona przez partie centrum oraz prawicy, zmierzająca do realizacji wspólnych celów, np. powołania wspólnego rządu albo wspólnej akcji w parlamencie. Przykładem jest ukraińska koalicja Nasza Ukraina - Ludowa Samoobrona.
