Established in 1999, Calix has helped wireline communications service providers deliver advanced information, communication, and entertainment services over fiber and copper broadband access networks.In 2006 Calix purchased Optical Solutions, Inc., based in Minneapolis, MN. Calix customers include EmbarqWindstream, Frontier (a Citizens Communications company), CenturyTel, and over 400 other communications service providers throughout North America.
