A Cable harness is a string of cables in e.g. car manufacture, which transmit signals (information) or operating currents (energy). The cables are bound together by e.g. clamps, cable ties or sleeves. Thus, for instance, modern-day cars contain electrical wires, which would stretch over several kilometres if fully extended.
