Buttocks
The buttocks (singular: buttock) are two rounded portions of the anatomy, located on the posterior of the pelvic region of apes and humans, and many other bipeds or quadrupeds, and comprise a layer of fat superimposed on the gluteus maximus and gluteus medius muscles. Physiologically, the buttocks enable weight to be taken off the feet while sitting. In many cultures they play a role in sexual attraction. Many cultures have also used them as a safe target for corporal punishment. There are several connotations of buttocks in art, fashion, culture and humor, and the English language is replete with many popular synonyms.

Gesäß
Das Gesäß (anatomisch nates, clunium, gluteus, regio glutealis) ist ein nur bei Menschen und ansatzweise bei Affen ausgeprägter Körperteil am unteren Rumpfende. In der topographischen Anatomie wird das Gebiet des Gesäßes als Regio glutaea (Gesäßregion) bezeichnet. Bei Tieren nennt man diese Region auch „Kruppe“.

The Buttocks
The Buttocks gelten unter vielen Alt-Punks in Deutschland als eine der Punkbands schlechthin, ihr Debütwerk war die erste politisch linksgerichtete Punkplatte Deutschlands. Die Band wurde 1978 in Hamburg gegründet. Ur-Besetzung: Mike Stanger (Gesang), Stephane Larsson (Schlagzeug), Rainer Jarren (Gitarre), Michael Ruhl (Bass).

Stjärt
Stjärten är den del av kroppen som hos ryggradsdjur är belägen bakom bäckengördeln och analöppningen. Denna region är utgångspunkt för svansen bland ryggradsdjur som har en sådan. Bland människor som passerat puberteten, har kvinnor i regel mer underhudsfett kring höfterna och stjärten än män. Människor och andra djur använder stjärten för att sitta på.

Okolica posladkowa
Okolica pośladkowa (łac. regio glutealis) – parzysta, topograficzna część ciała człowieka, ograniczona od góry w części przyśrodkowej, grzebieniem biodrowym (łac. crista iliaca), a następnie linią łączącą szczyt kości krzyżowej i kolec biodrowy górny przedni. Z reguły jest symetryczna.
Po bokach linia widoczna nad boczną krawędzią brzuśca mięśnia pośladkowego wielkiego, a od spodu przez bruzdę pośladkową (łac. sulcus glutealis). W części przyśrodkowej granicę stanowi karb odbytu (łac. crena ani). Ku górze okolica ta graniczy z okolicą lędźwiową (łac. regio lumbalis) (tylko w najwyższym punkcie) i okolicą biodrową (łac. regio coxae). Z boku z okolicą krętarzową (łac. regio trocheantica). U dołu graniczy z okolicą udową tylną (łac. regio femoralis posterior) a w najniższym, bocznym punkcie z okolicą udową boczną (łac. regio femoralis lateralis).
