A businessman is a term for a person working for a profit-oriented commercial or industrial enterprise, or more specifically, someone who is involved in the management (at any level) of a company. A businessman is often a business executive but can also be the actual owner of a company. The term 'businessman' almost always refers to someone with a 'white collar' occupation.
