Birds (class Aves) are bipedal, warm-blooded, egg-laying vertebrate animals. Birds evolved from theropod dinosaurs during the Jurassic period, c 200 to 150 Ma (million years ago), and the earliest known bird is the Late Jurassic Archaeopteryx, c 155–150 Ma. Around 10,000 living and recently (after 1500) extinct species of birds compose the class Aves, making them the most diverse terrestrial vertebrates. They inhabit ecosystems across the globe, from Arctic terns to Antarctic penguins. Birds range in size from the tiny hummingbirds to the huge Ostrich.

The World Bank Group (WBG) is a family of five international organizations responsible for providing finance and advice to countries for the purposes of economic development and eliminating poverty. Un oiseau (ou classe des Aves) est un animal tétrapode appartenant à l'embranchement des vertébrés. S'il existe près de espèces d'oiseaux, très différentes tant par leur écologie que par leurs comportements, chacune d'elles présente un même ensemble de caractéristiques évidentes permettant de les regrouper. Celles-ci sont notamment leur bec, leurs plumes, leurs ailes et leur oviparité.

Międzynarodowy Bank Odbudowy i Rozwoju (ang.: The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, IBRD), powszechnie znany jako Bank Światowy (ang.: World Bank) rozpoczął działalność 25 czerwca 1946, jako efekt postanowień konferencji w Bretton Woods z lipca 1944 roku (wtedy też został założony). Główną przesłanką dla jego stworzenia była przede wszystkim chęć odbudowy zniszczonych II wojną światową Europy i Japonii. Istotnym celem statutowym było również wsparcie dla rozwijających się krajów Azji, Ameryki Łacińskiej i Afryki. Obecnie zrzesza on 185 krajów członkowskich.

Gli uccelli (Aves Linnaeus, 1758) sono una classe di vertebrati costituita da circa 10.000 specie viventi. Sono animali bipedi, omeotermi ed ovipari che si trovano in quasi tutti gli ecosistemi, dall'Artide all'Antartide. Le loro dimensioni variano dai 5 cm. del piccolo e leggero colibrì di Elena ai 2,7 m. dello struzzo, un uccello africano inadatto al volo.

La Banca internazionale per la ricostruzione e lo sviluppo o BIRS (meglio nota come Banca Mondiale o World Bank nella dizione inglese) è un organismo internazionale dell'Organizzazione delle Nazioni Unite, istituito il 27 dicembre 1945, insieme con il Fondo Monetario Internazionale, a seguito dell'entrata in vigore degli accordi della conferenza di Bretton Woods (tenutasi tra l'1 ed il 22 luglio del 1944) il cui scopo originario era quello di finanziare la ricostruzione e lo sviluppo nei paesi coinvolti nella seconda guerra mondiale. Successivamente lo scopo è stato allargato al finanziamento dei paesi in via di sviluppo tra gli stati membri, solitamente in cambio dell'adozione di politiche liberiste.
