baqi

Bâḳî (باقى) was the pen name (Ottoman Turkish: ﻡﺨﻠﺺ mahlas) of the Ottoman Turkish poet Mahmud Abdülbâkî (محمود عبد الباقى) (1526–1600). Considered one of the greatest contributors to Turkish literature, Bâkî came to be known as Sultânüş-şuarâ (سلطان الشعرا), or "Sultan of poets".

The cemetery (place where dead people are buried) where a good many of the sahaba- companions of the holy Prophet (pbuh&hf)- are buried. It is in the south-east of Madinah.

This is a plot of land not far from where the mosque of the prophet stood and the houses of his companions around it were built as living quarters. This land was used as a cemetery for the muslims.
