Microsoft Streets & Trips is mapping software created by Microsoft. Its functionality is a subset of Microsoft MapPoint targeted at the average consumer to do a variety of map related tasks in the North American region including the United States, Canada, and Mexico, such as route planning.The European version is marketed as Microsoft AutoRoute and covers all of Europe, including European Russia; along with the Azerbijan, Armenia, Georgia, Cyprus and all of Turkey.Street & Trips 2006 and later versions install the new text-to-speech voice, "Microsoft Anna", which is part of Windows Vista on Windows XP computers, for the voice-prompt direction feature. A version of the product is currently sold with a GPS receiver to allow users use the product as a satellite navigation system.

Une autoroute est une route réservée à la circulation des véhicules motorisés rapides (automobiles, motos, poids lourds) et dont le tracé permet de circuler avec une sécurité optimale. Dans certains pays, mais pas en France, l'appellation voie rapide ou voie express, semble plutôt réservée au réseau routier traditionnel, mis aux normes autoroutières (élargissement de voies, chaussées séparées et déviations d'agglomérations), sans pour autant engendrer un tracé nouveau, toutefois, en France, des différences légales existent, voir plus-bas. La première autoroute au monde (en italien, autostrada), l'autoroute des Lacs a été créée pour relier Milan à la région des lacs, en 1924 (77 km).

Microsoft AutoRoute est un logiciel de planification d'itiniréraire qui peut vous être livré avec un récepteur GPS. Le logiciel est très précis, il a dans sa base de données toutes les rues de 35 pays, les restaurants les plus importants de la région. Il est livré avec un système de guidage vocal. La version destinée aux nord américains (États-Unis, Canada, Mexique) est appelée Microsoft Streets & Trips.

オートルートとはフランスの高速道路 (Autoroute) 。明確な法律による区分は無いが、高速道路法（1955年4月18日法律55-435号）に基づいて、国道であるもののうち自動車専用道路で流入出が制限されている道路のことを言う。フランスでは国道と言った場合、単に国が管理する道路全てをさすため、日本の一般国道に相当する国道と、国が管理する高速道路の二つが含まれる。なお、日本の県道、市町村道に相当するもので、高速道路並みの規格を有するものもあるが、それらは高速道路と呼ばず、それらのうち自動車専用道路のものを準高速道路 (Route Express) と呼んでいるだけである。フランスも「道路は無料」という原則にたっているが、特別な場合は混合経済会社（SEM、Societe d' Economie Mixte、官民合同の出資会社）や許可会社が有料で道路を建設できるとされたため（高速道路法）、高速道路は事実上有料制が採られている。ただし、公共性の観点から無料であるべき道路や機能上重要な路線、いわゆる都市内高速道路や港湾道路、国境近郊の道路は無料である。

En motorväg eller autostrada är en väg som består av två skilda körbanor med i normalfallet två körfält på varje körbana, alltid en körbana i vardera riktningen och alltid med en mittremsa emellan. Motorvägar har också planskilda korsningar och särskilda på- och avfarter som ansluter till vägen. Trafikmärket för motorväg, som är standard över hela Europa om än med något varierande utformning, symboliserar detta med skilda körbanor och planskilda korsningar i form av en bro som går över vägen.
