Atypical Mole Syndrome or
( Dysplastic Naevus Syndrome )
This is a potentially pre-malignant cutaneous tumour. Histologically the mole may look atypical but not frankly malignant. Individuals with this condition have an increase risk of developing malignant melanoma.They should have their mole photographed and regularly reviewed.
