attache

Attaché to przedstawiciel dyplomatyczny państwa wysyłającego w państwie przyjmującym, pełniący funkcję specjalisty w określonej dziedzinie (np. handlu, kultury). Jest to najniższy stopień członka personelu dyplomatycznego, chyba że jest to tzw. specjalny attaché, np. wojskowy, morski, lotniczy. Obecnie ten tytuł brzmi: attaché obrony, wojskowy, morski i lotniczy lub tylko attaché obrony. Attache Obrony jest to oficer Wojska Polskiego w zależności od kraju urzędowania jest to Generał (USA, Rosja, Chiny...) lub pułkownik (Czechy, Węgry, Włochy...). Każdy Attache Obrony posiada swoich zastępców, zwyczajowo są to oficerowie WP w stopniu o jeden szczebel niższym. Attache Obrony występuje jako Minister Pełnomocny lub Radca, a jego zastępca jako Pierwszy Sekretarz.

Attaché er stillingsbetegnelse for en udsendt medarbejder under ambassadørniveau ved en ambassade, typisk med konsulære og administrative opgaver. En attaché kan i ambassadørens fravær fungere som chargé d'affaires a.i.Medarbejdere fra andre ministerier end Udenrigsministeriet, der udsendes til tjeneste ved en ambassade, har ofte titel af attaché i kombination med deres fagområde, f.eks. forsvarsattaché eller miljøattaché.

En attaché (fra fransk) er en tittel som nyttes for personer i tilknytning til utenrikstjeneste. Tittelen knyttes gjerne til nye diplomater, eller til personer med kortere tjenesteopphold. En attaché kan ha tjeneste ved en legasjon eller en ambassade, og tjenesten vil ofte for å ta seg av et særområde, med tilhørende tittel, eksempelvis handelsattaché, militærattaché eller presseattaché.
