Artesano
Un artesano es una persona que realiza labores de artesanía. Contrariamente a los comerciantes, no se dedica a la reventa de artículos sino que los hace él mismo o les agrega algún valor. En varios países es considerado como pequeño empresario (PYME) y en España cuenta con regulación propia por el Decreto de Ordenación de la Artesanía de 1998.

artesano
(n.) = craftsman [craftsmen, -pl.] ; artisan ; craftsperson ; crafts worker.
Ex: Its gossamer parts, the precise location and alignment involved in its construction, would have occupied a master craftsman of the guild for months.
Ex: A fraction of its activities is beneficial, as much to the artisan as to the members of the crust.
Ex: But unless technical staff want to remain in a servant role as mere tool jockeys, they must complete the evolution from craftsperson to professional.
Ex: Only 45 percent of profession al and technical workers in 1981 were, women, and only six percent of all crafts workers.
