archway
n. entrance or passageway under an arch

Wikipedia English The Free EncyclopediaDownload this dictionary
Archway
Archway is an area of north London in the London Borough of Islington. Archway remains one of the more neglected, run down areas of the socially and economically diverse borough of Islington. However, in recent years Archway has seen an increase in young middle-class residents, attracted to Archway by its proximity to traditionally more desirable areas such as Upper Street and Highgate, the accessibility of Hampstead Heath and Waterlow Park, and its public transport connections to central London.
