Ant
Ants are social insects of the family Formicidae and, along with the related wasps and bees, belong to the order Hymenoptera. Ants evolved from wasp-like ancestors in the mid-Cretaceous period between 110 and 130 million years ago and diversified after the rise of flowering plants. More than 12,500 out of an estimated total of 22,000 species have been classified. They are easily identified by their elbowed antennae and a distinctive node-like structure that forms a slender waist.

ANT+
ANT+ (sometimes ANT + or ANT Plus) is an interoperability function that can be added to the base ANT protocol (a proprietary wireless sensor network technology). It is targeted at manufacturers of "bike computers, diagnostics, power meters, heart rate monitors etc." and promoted by the ANT+ Alliance.

Ameisen
Ameisen (Formicidae) gehören zu den staatenbildenden Insekten und stellen eine Familie innerhalb der Hautflügler (Hymenoptera) dar. Rund 12.500 Arten sind bekannt, davon 180 in Europa. Zu den bekanntesten in Deutschland vorkommenden Arten gehören die Rote Waldameise und die Schwarze Wegameise. Ameisen kommen in fast allen Weltregionen vor, so findet man sie auch am Polarkreis, im Hochgebirge und in der Wüste. Ausnahmen sind Island, Grönland, die Antarktis und Teile von Polynesien. Besonders zahlreich sind sie in den tropischen Urwäldern. Anhand von Fossilien ist nachgewiesen, dass es seit der frühen Kreidezeit, also seit rund 130 Millionen Jahren, Ameisen gibt.

Anime no Tomodachi
Der Anime no Tomodachi e. V. (kurz: AnT, dt. „Freunde des Anime“) ist der älteste überregionale, noch existierende Manga- und Anime-Verein Deutschlands. Er wurde am 6. September 1997 gegründet und hat derzeit ca. 400 Mitglieder. Seit 2005 ist der AnT im Vereinsregister eingetragen, Sitz des Vereins ist Hannover.

Formicidae
Les fourmis ( des formicidés — Formicidae — ) sont des insectes sociaux formant des colonies, appelées fourmilières, parfois extrêmement complexes, contenant de quelques dizaines à plusieurs millions d'individus. Les fourmis sont des insectes migrateurs qui prennent leur envol à l'automne pour migrer vers des pays chauds, ce qui permet aux oiseaux migrateurs, qui suivent les colonies de fourmis, de se nourrir en vol. Certaines espèces forment des « colonies de colonies » ou supercolonies. Les fourmis sont classées dans l' des hyménoptères, comme les guêpes et les abeilles. Les termites, parfois appelés fourmis blanches sont de l' des dictyoptères (sous-ordre des isoptères). Ils ne sont donc pas des fourmis, bien qu'ils leur ressemblent.

Apache Ant
Ant, a dokładnie Apache Ant to narzędzie służące do zautomatyzowania procesu budowy oprogramowania. Podobne do programu Make ale napisane w języku Java do wykorzystania przede wszystkim z programami napisanymi w tym języku.
Od razu zauważalną różnicą pomiędzy Ant i Make jest to że Ant używa plików w formacie XML do opisu procesu budowy i jego zależności, gdzie Make ma własny format Makefile. Domyślnie plik XML nazywa się build.xml.
Ant jest jednym z projektów Apache.

Mrówkowate
Mrówkowate (Formicidae) - rodzina owadów należąca do rzędu błonkówek, podrzędu trzonkówek. Bardzo rozpowszechnione, występują praktycznie pod każdą szerokością geograficzną. Mrówki tworzą społeczności kastowe żyjące w gniazdach. Liczbę gatunków mrówek szacuje się na ok. 12 tysięcy. W Polsce występują 103 gatunki.
