Andron (Gr. andron), that part of a Greek house which was reserved for men, as distinguished from the gynaeceum (gunaikeion), the women's quarters.Andron for Men was a mens cologne designed by company called Jovan in the early eighties. The fragrance contained a pheromone called Androstenol. Jovan claimed that the pheromone would make the wearer irresistible to women.
