Androgyny
Androgyny is a term derived from the Greek words ανήρ, stem ανδρ- (anér, andr-, meaning man) and γυνή (gyné, meaning woman), referring to the combination of masculine and feminine characteristics. Androgynie
Un androgyne est un être humain dont l'apparence ne permet pas de savoir à quel sexe il appartient. Quand une personne est physiquement porteuse des deux sexes, on parle plutôt d'hermaphrodisme. Le terme est aussi revendiqué par certaines personnes qui ont une identité de genre ni tout à fait masculine ni tout à fait féminine, quelle que soit leur apparence physique.
