Anfiteatro
Un Anfiteatro (del griego Amphitheatron), es un tipo de edificio público de la civilización romana, utilizado para acoger espectáculos y juegos (munera, lucha de gladiadores y venationes, lucha de animales). Los más antiguos se construyeron en Etruria y Campania y datan finales del siglo II a.C. Este tipo de edificio es una creación romana, y no tiene antecedentes ni en Grecia ni en Asia Menor.
