Zuid-Holland

South Holland (Dutch: ) is a province of the Netherlands, located in the west of the country on the North Sea coast. It is the most densely populated and industrialised of the Dutch provinces. Neighbouring provinces are Zeeland to the southwest, North Brabant to the southeast, Gelderland to the east, Utrecht to the northeast and North Holland to the north.

Südholland (niederl. Zuid-Holland) ist eine westliche Provinz der Niederlande an der Nordseeküste. Sie ist das am dichtesten besiedelte und höchstindustrialisierte Gebiet der Niederlande.Angrenzende Provinzen sind Nordholland im Norden, Utrecht und Gelderland im Osten, Nordbrabant im Südosten und Zeeland im Süden. Im Westen grenzt die Provinz an die Nordsee.Wichtige Städte sind Den Haag (Regierungssitz, Internationaler Gerichtshof) und die Seehafenstadt Rotterdam. Die Städte Leiden, Delft, Dordrecht, Schiedam und Gouda besitzen ein historisches Zentrum.

È una delle province più popolose e industrializzate.
