Zuhr

The Dhuhr prayer ("dh" pronounced as "th" in "that", often simplified to "z") is the prayer after midday (but before the shadow of the sun becomes twice its length from midday.) Performed daily by practicing Muslims, it is the second of the five daily prayers (salat). The five daily prayers collectively are one of the Five Pillars of Islam in Sunni Islam, and one of the ten Practices of the Religion (Furū al-Dīn) according to Shia Islam. When travelling, according to some madhhabs, it may be reduced to two rak'ahs. The Dhuhr prayer is mentioned by name in the Qur'an at 17:78.

Martin Zuhr (* 28. Februar 1958 in Witten) ist ein deutscher Schauspieler, Kabarettist und Musiker.Er begann seine Karriere bei der Kabarettgruppe „Die Stussknacker“. Ab 1990 war er mit der Satiresendung Donnerstag bei Kanal 4 als Moderator Rolf Donner auf RTL zu sehen. Die Sendung enthielt unter anderem Parodien auf gerade aktuelle Fernsehsendungen wie z. B. Bitte melde dich. Für diese Sendung enthielt er 1991 den silbernen Grimmepreis in der Sparte Unterhaltung.

Dzuhr az iszlám hívok déli imája, a kötelezo napi öt ima (szalá) közül a második. A Fadzsr ima után és az Aszr ima elott van.Az öt ima együtt képezi az Iszlám Öt Oszlopa közül az egyiket (a szunnita iszlámban), illetve a síita iszlám hit szerint az öt ima egyike a 10 Furú ad-Dínnek, a Vallás Tíz Ágának. A Dzuhr négy imaalapegység (rakaa) hosszúságú, de utazáskor két rakaa-ra rövidítheto. A Korán a 17:78-as fejezetben említi a Dzuhrt. Ez, a Fadzsr-al ellentétben csendesen végzendo.
