Zoroastrianism

Zoroastrianism is the religion and philosophy based on the teachings ascribed to the prophet Zoroaster (Zarathustra, Zartosht). Mazdaism is the religion that acknowledges the divine authority of Ahura Mazda, proclaimed by Zoroaster to be the one uncreated Creator of all (God).As demonstrated by Zoroastrian creed and articles of faith, the two terms are effectively synonymous. In a declaration of the creed — the Fravarānē — the adherent states: "…I profess myself a devotee of Mazda, a follower of Zarathustra." (Yasna 12.2, 12.8)While Zoroastrianism was once the dominant religion of much of Greater Iran, the number of adherents has dwindled to not more than 200,000 worldwide, with concentrations in India and Iran. Le zoroastrisme, aussi appelé mazdéisme, est une religion monothéiste, dont Ahura Mazdâ est le Dieu, seul responsable de la mise en ordre du chaos initial, le créateur du ciel et de la terre. Elle a été créée et prophétisée par Zarathoustra, dont le nom a été transcrit Zoroastre par les Grecs (Ζωροάστρης, Zōroastrēs). Elle a été fondée au cours du dans l'actuel Kurdistan iranien (Iran occidental), et est devenue la religion officielle des Perses sous la dynastie des Sassanides (224-651), jusqu'à ce que la conquête arabe importe l'islam.

Der Zoroastrismus bzw. Zarathustrismus (auch: Mazdaismus oder Parsismus) ist eine um 1800 v. Chr. bis 700 v. Chr. vermutlich in Baktrien entstandene, monotheistische (in ihren frühen Ausprägungen auch dualistische) Religion, mit etwa 120.000-150.000 Anhängern, die ursprünglich im iranischen Raum verbreitet war. Die Anhänger des Zoroastrismus werden Zoroastrier oder Zarathustrier genannt, die Anhängerschaft im heutigen Indien bezeichnet man auch als Parsen.

Zaratusztrianizm (Zoroastryzm, awest. Daēnā Vañuhi; pers. آيين زرتشتی Âjin-e Zaratoszt) - jedna z najstarszych, wciąż istniejąca religia monoteistyczna założona przez Zaratusztrę (jego życie różni badacze umieszczają gdzieś pomiędzy XIII a połową VI w. p.n.e., przy czym większość przyjmuje że żył on gdzieś ok. 1000 r. p.n.e.), w północno-wschodnim Iranie. Religia ta wywodzi się z pierwotnych wierzeń ludów indoeuropejskich, żyjących na terenach obecnego północnego Iranu. Muzułmanie nazywają jej wyznawców czcicielami ognia.

Zoroastrismo è il nome dato ad una delle più antiche religioni e la più importante e meglio nota dell'Iran antico o preislamico. Prende il nome da quello del suo fondatore Zoroastro (Zarathustra) vissuto in Persia approssimativamente tra il 1000 ed il VII-VI secolo a.C., Lo Zoroastrismo si presenta come una versione riformata di una precedente tradizione religiosa persiana, caratterizzata da numerose caratteristiche in comune con la religione vedica indiana. L'altro nome con il quale lo Zoroastrismo è conosciuto, Mazdeismo, deriva dal nome della principale figura divina, Ahura Mazda.
