Phreatic zone
Phreatic Zone is the area in an aquifer, below the water table, which relatively all pores and fractures are saturated with water. The phreatic zone is also known as the
zone of saturation. The phreatic zone may fluctuate with changes in seasons and during wet and dry periods.
