Zaim, Căuşeni
Zaim is a Moldovan village located 7 km from the regional center of Causeni. The population is approximately 4500, ethnicity is Moldovan, and the dominant language is Romanian.Zaim is well known in Moldova because of the house/museum of Alexei Mateevici, a famous poet of southern Bessarabia. Also found in Zaim is the Museum of the Spirit of South-western Moldova that includes exhibits of a number of artists and writers with origins in South-western Bessarabia.
