Zahnkrone
Die Zahnkrone ist der obere Anteil eines Zahnes, der aus dem Zahnfleisch herausragt. Sie ist mit Zahnschmelz bedeckt, der härtesten im menschlichen Körper vorkommenden Substanz. Im allgemeinen Sprachgebrauch wird auch die künstliche Überkronung als „Krone“ bezeichnet.
