Youngstown, Ohio
Youngstown is a city in the US state of Ohio and the county seat of Mahoning County; it also extends into Trumbull County. The municipality is situated on the Mahoning River, approximately southeast of Cleveland and northwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Youngstown has its own metropolitan area, but is often included in commercial and cultural depictions of the Pittsburgh Tri-State area and Greater Cleveland. Youngstown lies west of the Pennsylvania state line, midway between New York City and Chicago via Interstate 80.

Youngstown (Ohio)
Youngstown ist eine Stadt im Mahoning County, im US-Bundesstaat Ohio, deren Gebiet sich teilweise bis ins Trumbull County erstreckt. Youngstown hat 82.026 Einwohner (Stand: Schätzung 2006) auf einer Fläche von 89 Quadratkilometern und ist die achtgrößte Stadt in Ohio. Die Stadt liegt am Mahoning River und an den Autobahnen Interstate 76 und 80. Youngstown liegt 105 Kilometer südlich von Cleveland und etwa 100 Kilometer nordwestlich von Pittsburgh. Youngstown wird zum Rust Belt gezählt, vor allem Fahrzeug- und Maschinenbau-, sowie Stahlindustriebetriebe sind im Ort angesiedelt.

Youngstown
Youngstown è una città situata nella contea di Mahoning nell'Ohio, sul fiume Mahoning, 65 miglia a sud-est di Cleveland (Ohio) e circa 62 miglia a nord-ovest di Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania).
Al censimento del 2000 la città aveva una popolazione di 82.026 abitanti. Nel 2004 la popolazione stimata è scesa a 77.713. Youngstown è situata nella cosiddetta Rust Belt ("Fascia della ruggine"), ed è stata molto influenzata dal declino dell'industria pesante che ha colpito questa regione.
La Youngstown-Warren Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) contiene approssimativamente 600.000 abitanti e include le contee di Mahoning e Trumbull nell'Ohio e la contea di Mercer in Pennsylvania. Tutta l'area della Steel Valley (compresi Youngstown-Warren e Sharon-Farrell-New Castle, Pennsylvania) comprende quasi 720.000 residenti. Youngstown è la sede amministrativa della contea di Mahoning. La città è a sole 10 miglia a ovest della linea di confine con la Pennsylvania ed è situata esattamente tra New York e Chicago.
