Yokohama F. Marinos
is a Japanese association football team that participates in the fully professional J. League Division 1; the top Japanese professional football league. Having won the J-League title three times and finished second twice, they are one of the most successful J-League clubs. The team are based in Yokohama and were founded as the company team of Nissan Motors. The club was formed by the merger of Yokohama Marinos and Yokohama Flügels in 1999. The current name is intended to reflect both Marinos and Flügels. The team name Marinos means "sailors" in Spanish. Yokohama F. Marinos are the longest serving team in the top flight of Japanese football having played at the top level since 1982, also making them one of only five teams to have competed in Japan's top flight of football every year since its inception.

Die Yokohama F. Marinos (jap. , von spanisch marino: Segler; das F kommt vom deutschen Flügel) sind einer der erfolgreichsten japanischen Fußballvereine und waren 2004 zuletzt Meister der J. League, Japans höchster Spielklasse. Die Marinos tragen ihre Heimspiele in Yokohama, Japans zweitgrößter Stadt, im International Stadium aus, dem Schauplatz des Weltmeisterschafts-Finales von 2002.

Yokohama F. Marinos
Yokohama F. Marinos (jap. 横浜F・マリノス Yokohama Efu Marinosu) – japoński klub piłkarski grający obecnie w J-League. Klub ma siedzibę w Jokohamie.
W 1972 roku założono klub Yokohama Marinos, który był zakładową drużyną korporacji Nissan Motors. W 1999 roku doszło do fuzji zespołu Marinos z innym klubem z Jokohamy, Yokohama Flügels. Nazwa Marinos wywodzi się z języka hiszpańskiego i w przekładzie na język polski oznacza marynarzy.
Tuż po utworzeniu, drużyna grała jako Nissan FC w Japońskiej Lidze Piłkarskiej. Nawiązano wówczas kontakt ze szkołami wyższymi oraz uniwersytetami w mieście i utworzono drużyny juniorskie, aby móc w przyszłości ściągać z nich wychowanków do pierwszej drużyny. Gdy trenerem drużyny został pierwszy profesjonalny szkoleniowiec w Japonii Kamo Shu, Nissan FC zdobył w 1988 i 1989 roku dwa mistrzostwa kraju, a także Puchar Cesarza i JSL Cup, czyli trzy najważniejsze trofea w kraju.
