Yixing

For the 8th century monk, inventor, and astronomer, see Yi Xing. Yixing ( ; ; ; Pronounced='ee-shing') is a county-level city in Jiangsu province, in eastern China. It is well-known for its Yixing clay and artistry in teaware and bamboo forests. Administratively it is part of the city of Wuxi.
