Japanese yen
The (sign: ¥; code: JPY) is the official currency of Japan. It is the third most traded currency in the foreign exchange market after the United States dollar and the euro. It is also widely used as a reserve currency after the U.S. dollar, the euro and the pound sterling. As is common when counting in East Asia, large quantities of yen are often counted in multiples of 10,000 (man, 万) in the same way as values in Western countries are often quoted in thousands.

- Taiwanese yen, the currency of Taiwan from 1895–1946.
- Korean yen, the currency of Korea from 1910–1945.
- Japanese military yen, scrip issued to Japanese soldiers overseas.
- ¥, the Latinized symbol of the yen.
- Yen, Cameroon, a town in southern Cameroon.
- Estevan Regional Aerodrome (IATA code: YEN), an airport near Estevan, Saskatchewan in Canada.
- Youth Employment Network, a joint UN-ILO-World Bank jobs program.

Yen Plus
Yen Plus is an American monthly anthology magazine of Japanese manga, Korean manhwa, and Original English-language manga (OEL manga) published by Yen Press. The first issue went on sale on July 29, 2008 with five manga titles originally published by Gangan Comics, four manhwa titles, and two OEL manga titles. The magazine contains over 450 pages an issue, and reads both right-to-left for manga titles, and left-to-right for manhwa and OEL manga titles; as such, each issue has two covers. Although Yen Plus does not publicize official circulation figures, Hachette Book Group publicity materials for the Maximum Ride manga reported a circulation figure for Yen Plus of "nearly 100,000 copies" as of late 2008. The print publication was suspended following the July 2010 issue and the magazine is now being published online.

Kurs jena nie ma zbyt dużego znaczenia dla gorspodarki Polski i innych krajów europejskich (znaczny wpływ ma co najwyżej na ceny elektroniki), jednak jest bardzo ważny w strefie Pacyfiku, jest również istotny dla gospodarki Stanów Zjednoczonych.
