Xerox
Xerox Corporation is an American multinational document management corporation that produced and sells a range of color and black-and-white printers, multifunction systems, photo copiers, digital production printing presses, and related consulting services and supplies. Xerox is headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut (moved from Stamford, Connecticut in October 2007), though its largest population of employees is based in and around Rochester, New York, the area in which the company was founded. On September 28, 2009, Xerox announced the intended acquisition of Affiliated Computer Services for $6.4 billion. The deal closed on February 8, 2010. Xerox holds a Royal Warrant from HM Queen Elizabeth II and the Prince of Wales.

Xerox
Die Xerox Corporation ist ein Technologie- und Dienstleistungsunternehmen im Dokumenten-Management-Bereich. Der Firmenname leitet sich von der Xerografie ab, der Drucktechnologie, die in den 1930er Jahren vom Physiker und Patentanwalt Chester F. Carlson erfunden wurde. Das Wort Xerographie stammt von den griechischen Wörtern xeros für "trocken" und graphein für "schreiben".

Xerox Corporation är ett amerikanskt företag grundat år 1906 i Rochester, New York. Företaget har idag sitt huvudkontor i Norwalk, Connecticut, och tar bland annat fram kontorsmaskiner och metoder för dokumenthantering, bland annat kopiatorer.

Xerox
Xerox Corp. – amerykański koncern produkujący urządzenia kopiujące i drukujące, największy dostarczyciel rozwiązań w zakresie zarządzania dokumentami.
Został założony w 1906 jako Haloid Company, od 1958 Haloid Xerox Company, od 1961 znany jako X.C. Jako pierwszy wprowadził na rynek fotokopiarki (1959). W 1970 Xerox otworzył bardzo ważny w historii informatyki ośrodek badawczy Xerox PARC (Xerox Palo Alto Research Center) w Palo Alto w Kalifornii.
Wytwarza także sprzęt i wyposażenie komputerowe, m.in. dla przemysłu lotniczego, zbrojeniowego i kosmonautyki. Posiada większą część udziałów w brytyjskiej Rank Xerox Ltd. (zał. 1956). W 1992 obroty wynosiły 17,8 mld USD. Zatrudnia 97 tys. pracowników. Spółka publiczna notowana od 11 lipca 1961 na Giełdzie Nowojorskiej (NYSE).
