X (magazine)
X, A Quarterly Review was a British arts review published in London which "ran for seven large, fat, beautifully designed issues" between 1959-1962. It was founded and co-edited by Patrick Swift and David Wright. X, named after its dictionary definition "the unknown quantity", was launched to give a platform for the individual vision and to promote artists who were unknown or unfashionable.
