Worth Township is a township in Cook County, Illinois, United States to the southwest of Chicago. Founded in 1849, when the county voted to subdivide itself into townships. The population was 152,239 at the 2000 census.The county covers 31.9 square miles holding about 60,500 dwellings. The populations is 83.8% white non-hispanic, 7.8% hispanic/latino and 5.1 lack.
