White Peony

Consisting solely of early spring-picked buds, this is truly the finest of all white teas. Silver Needle's name perfectly describes this tea's spectacular appearance; the needle-shaped, white, downy buds turn into shiny green spears when steeped. The taste is delicate, yet pronounced, with a long balanced sweetness. Benefits from a long infusion at water temperature well below boiling. This tea will not become bitter from oversteeping and is naturally low in caffeine.
