West Bromwich Albion Football Club (also known as West Brom, The Baggies, Albion, The Albion, The Throstles or W.B.A.) is an English professional football club based in West Bromwich, West Midlands. As of the 2007–08 season, the team plays in the Football League Championship, the second tier of English football, although they have competed in the top-flight for the majority of their existence. The club was formed in 1878 by workers from Salter's Spring Works in West Bromwich, and have played their home games at The Hawthorns since 1900.

Le club a été créé en 1878 par les travailleurs de Salter Travaux, et ont joué leurs matchs à domicile à The Hawthorns depuis 1900. Le club a été champion d'Angleterre en 1920 et a remporté 5 FA Cup. Ils ont également remporté la coupe de la ligue, lors de la première édition en 1966. Depuis le début des années 1980, le club a eu moins de succès. A l'issue de la saison 2007-2008 West Bromwich est promue en Premier league pour la 4éme fois depuis 2002.

Il West Bromwich Albion Football Club, o semplicemente West Bromwich, è una società di calcio con sede a West Bromwich, nelle West Midlands, in Inghilterra. Fondata dai lavoratori della Salter's Spring Works nel 1878, attualmente milita nella seconda divisione inglese.Nella stagione 2005-2006 è retrocessa in seconda divisione dopo due anni in Premier League.
