Wescott Mason E

ASQ founder and Honorary Member. A professor emeritus at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Wescott has been teaching mathematics and statistics since 1925. He has taught at Northwestern University, Rutgers University and RIT, where the Wescott Statistics Laboratory was dedicated in his honor in 1984. Wescott succeeded Martin A. Brumbaugh as the editor of Industrial Quality Control in 1947, a position he held until 1961.
