Well Control Component, Ram Type

A device designed to form a seal on the wellbore with or without coiled tubing in the well or to perform a specific operation on the coiled tubing body. Ram-type well control components include a set of blind rams, shear rams, slip rams and pipe rams to effect the required wellbore seals or perform the specific physical action on the coiled tube body. Combination shear/seal and pipe/slip rams are available.
