[Judaic] A heavenly being in the Book of Daniel. A watcher gives a strange dream to King Nebuchadnezzar. Watchers also appear in later mystical works. In the Apocryphal book of Enoch, they are a race of giants, the children of angels who married human women. God appointed them as his guardians on the frontiers of his universe, one at every level.
