Walla Walla Regional Airport
Walla Walla Regional Airport is a public airport located in Walla Walla County, three miles (5 km) northeast of the city of Walla Walla in the U.S. state of Washington. The airport was the location of the U.S. Army Air Corps' Walla Walla Army Air Base in World War II.[1] On December 1, 1947, control of the facility reverted back to the city of Walla Walla.[2]
