WHITE CHOCOLATE--FOOD DEFINITION
White chocolate is actually a misnomer for products made in the U.S. (In Europe the name, white chocolate, is the term used for the product described below). The actual product is "white cocoa butter, whole milk, and flavorings. This product should not be called "chocolate" in the United States since it does not contain cocoa solids. If the word cocoa butter isn't in the description a different vegetable fat is probably the source of the fat in the product. These products would not contain the stimulants found in other cocoa bean based products.
