For the music album by
Mike Oldfield, see
Voyager (album). Voyageur is an
album created by the musical project
Enigma. It is Enigma's fifth album and released in 2003.Due to Enigma's drastic changes as compared to their previous four albums, Voyageur was considered to be Enigma's most different album ever created. The project's signature
shakuhachi flutes,
Gregorian chants and tribal chants found on the earlier albums were completely gone on Voyageur. Instead most of the songs found on the album were more pop-oriented, such as "
Voyageur", "Incognito", "
Boum-Boum" and "Look of Today". In fact,
Michael Cretu, the producer of Enigma described Voyageur's genre as "sophisticated pop".
