For the term "volunteer", see Volunteer. For other uses, see Volunteer (disambiguation). Volunteers is a 1969 album by American psychedelic rock band, Jefferson Airplane. It was controversial at the time because of anti-war messages in the songs. The original title of the album was supposed to be Volunteers of America, but pressure from RCA led to this name being dropped.

Volunteers
Persons who receive a voluntary conveyance.

It is a general rule of the courts of equity that they will not assist a mere volunteer who has a defective conveyance.

Persons who in time of war offer their services to their country and march in its defence.

Their rights and duties are prescribed by the municipal laws of the different states. But when in actual service they are subject to the laws of the United States and the articles of war.
