Vogtlandkreis

The Vogtlandkreis is a Landkreis (rural district) in the southwest of the Free State of Saxony, Germany, at the borders to Thuringia, Bavaria, and the Czech Republic. Neighboring districts are (from south clockwise) Hof, Saale-Orla, Greiz, Zwickauer Land, Aue-Schwarzenberg. The urban district of Plauen is located in the center of the district.

L'arrondissement du Vogtland était un arrondissement  ("Landkreis" en allemand) de Saxe  (Allemagne), dans le district de Chemnitz de 1994 à 2008. Son chef lieu était Plauen. Il fut regroupé avec l'ancienne ville-arrondissement de Plauen le 1er août 2008 pour former le nouvel arrondissement du Vogtland selon la réforme des arrondissements de Saxe de 2008.

Der Vogtlandkreis ist ein Landkreis im Westen des Freistaats Sachsen. Nachbarkreise sind im Norden der thüringische Landkreis Greiz, im Osten die Landkreise Zwickauer Land und Aue-Schwarzenberg, im Süden der tschechische Verwaltungsbezirk Karlsbad (Karlovarský kraj), im Südwesten der bayerische Landkreis Hof und im Westen der thüringische Saale-Orla-Kreis. Die kreisfreie Stadt Plauen als Sitz des Vogtlandkreises ist vom selbigem umgeben.
