Vltava

The Vltava (; ) is the longest river in the Czech Republic, draining into the north from its source in Šumava through Český Krumlov, České Budějovice, and Prague (Praha), merging with the Elbe (Labe) at Mělník. It is 430 kilometers long and drains about 28,090 square kilometers; at their confluence the Vltava actually has more water than the Elbe, but joins the Elbe at a right angle to its flow so that it appears a mere tributary.

Die Moldau (auch Wulda oder tschechisch Vltava), auch als „Böhmisches Meer“ bezeichnet, ist der längste und wasserreichste Fluss in Tschechien und ein Nebenfluss der Elbe. Er ist 440 km lang und entwässert ein Gebiet von 28.000 km² mit durchschnittlich 150 m³/s in der Mündung. Das aufgestaute Wasser des  Lipno-Stausees reicht an einer Stelle einige Meter auf österreichisches Staatsgebiet.

Wełtawa (czes. Vltava, niem. Moldau) to najdłuższa rzeka w Czechach i jednocześnie największy dopływ Łaby. Długość - 435 km, powierzchnia zlewni - 28 tys. km².Powstaje z połączenia Ciepłej (Teplá Vltava) i Zimnej Wełtawy (Studená Vltava), które wypływają w Szumawie. Uchodzi do Łaby w okolicach miasta Mělník.Wykorzystywana do produkcji energii elektrycznej (kilka sztucznych jezior i hydroelektrowni, największe Lipno) i żeglugi (żeglowna na długości 80 km w dolnym biegu).

La Mòldava (in ceco Vltava, in tedesco Moldau), è un fiume dell'Europa centrale, che scorre interamente nella Repubblica Ceca, di cui è il maggior corso d'acqua.Dopo la sorgente nella Selva Boema il fiume bagna Ceský Krumlov, Ceské Budejovice, e Praga (Praha), confluendo nell'Elba (Labe) a Melník. Il fiume è lungo 430 km per un bacino di circa 28,000 km²; alla confluenza la Moldava ha una portata maggiore rispetto all'Elba, ma vi confluisce con un angolo quasi retto, tanto da sembrare sulle carte geografiche come un affluente.
