Flanders
Historically, Flanders was a region overlapping parts of Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. Today, Flanders often designates the merged Flemish Region and Flemish Community, with a parliament and government for the inhabitants of the northern half of Belgium. Flanders may also refer to the Flemish Region, which does not include Brussels-Capital.
