Visayan

Le cebuano, cébouano ou visayan est une langue parlée dans la province de Cebu et d'autres provinces aux Philippines. Il appartient au sous-groupe dit « bisayien » du groupe « méso-philippin » de la branche malayo-polynésienne des langues austronésiennes, avec le hiligaynon et le tausug.

Cebuano, även kallat visaya eller bisaya, är ett Austronesiskt språk. Det talas i Filippinerna av ca 20 000 000 personer. Cebuano med närbesläktade dialekter är huvudspråk inom en stor del av centrala och södra Filippinerna, på öarna Cebu (som har gett namn åt språket), Bohol, Negros, Leyte, och delar av Mindanao.
