Videx

Videx is a manufacturer of access control products and data collection terminals. Better known in the 1980s as manufacturer of Videx VideoTerm (80 column display card) and Videx UltraTerm (80/132 column display card) add-on expansion card for Apple II computers. These products became obsolete when Apple released Apple IIe with most of the 80 column card hardware already built-in.

NRTI ist die Abkürzung für engl. Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor (nukleosidaler Reverse-Transkriptase-Hemmer). Es handelt sich um künstliche chemische Verbindungen, die Nukleosiden ähneln (Nukleosidanaloga), jedoch an entscheidender Stelle so verändert wurden, dass kein weiteres Nukleosid an dieses falsche Nukleosid angehängt werden kann. NRTIs stören also den Aufbau von DNA.
