Vice Squad

Vice Squad is a punk rock band formed in 1978 in Bristol, England. The band formed from two other local punk bands, The Contingent and TV Brakes. The original band line-up also played under The Name "The Sex Aids". Songwriter and vocalist Beki Bondage (born Rebecca Louise Bond) has been with the band since the original line-up. She is often cited as being the first punk pin-up featured on the front cover of a number of influential music tabloids such as Melody Maker, NME, and Smash Hits.

Die Bandmitglieder spielten vorher in den Bands The Contingent and TV Brakes. Der ursprüngliche Bandname war The Sex Aids. Die Sängerin Beki Bondage (bürgerlich Rebecca Louise Bond) ist seit Gründung der Band und seit deren Neugründung 1998 dabei.

Vice SquadLa banda liderada por Rebecca Bond, alias Beki Bondage, se formó en Bristol en 1978, en plena segunda oleada del punk británico. El line-up original estaba formado además de Beki a la voz, por el guitarrista Dave Bateman, Mark Hambly al bajo y Shane Baldwin a la batería.Vice Squad cayeron en las garras de EMI, que licenciaron el primer single y editaron en 1981 el primer LP de la banda, "No cause for concern".Seis meses después aparece otro LP, "Stand strong stand proud", muy bien trabajado y con una buena dosis de grandes canciones.
