Variable Limits

Limites variáveis
A maioria das bolsas estabelece limites para o movimento de preços máximo diário de alguns dos contratos de futuros negociados nos seus recintos. Detém também o direito de expandir estes limites se o preço oscila para além do limite inferior ou superior em um, dois ou três dias seguidos de operações. Se os limites se alteram automaticamente depois de repetidos movimentos de limites, são conhecidos como limites variáveis.

Most exchanges set limits on the maximum daily price movement of some of the futures contracts traded on their floors. They also retain the right to expand these limits if the price moves up- or down-limit for one, two, or three trading days in a row. If the limits automatically change after repeated limit moves, they are known as variable limits.

Variable Limits
Die meisten Börsen setzen Limits für das Maximum täglicher Kursschwankungen der meisten Terminkontrakte, die bei ihnen gehandelt werden. Sie behalten sich das Recht vor, diese Limits auszuweiten, wenn an einem, zwei oder drei aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen das Kurslimit in einer Richtung erreicht wurde. Wenn die Limits automatisch nach wiederholten Limitbewegungen geändert wurden, spricht man von variablen Limits.

La mayoría de las bolsas ponen límites en el máximo movimiento del precio diario de algunos de los contratos de futuros negociados en sus pisos. Ellas también retienen el derecho de expandir estos límites si el precio se mueve hacia arriba o hacia abajo--límite para uno, dos, o tres negociaciones en fila por día. Si los límites cambian automáticamente luego de repetidos movimientos límites, ellos son conocidos como límites variables.
